Ways to induce labor:
  • Walking (a lot!)
  • Sex
  • Evening Primrose Oil
  • Castor Oil
  • Spicy Foods
  • Acupuncture
  • Acupressure
  • Nipple Stimulation
  • Massage
  • Stripping the membranes (done by your OB/GYN)
  • Raspberry Leaf Tea
  • Cinnamon Stick Tea
  • Visualization/Relaxation
  • Pineapple
  • Dancing
  • Squats
  • Glass of wine (consult your doctor first!)
  • Running/Marching up and down the stairs
  • Bumpy car ride
  • Birthing Ball
  • Swimming
  • Mowing the lawn
  • Swinging (on a swing set)
  • Get down on your hands and knees and scrub the kitchen floor

Some of these things, I myself wouldn’t recommend. For instance, the castor oil. It’ll either throw you into labor, or it can make you shit your pants for four hours. I suggest consulting your OB/GYN or Midwife before trying anything that requires ingestion. Good luck! :D

I found out last night that a very dear friend of mine has cancer. What kind, I havent been told yet. But please keep him in your thoughts and prayers. He deserves to live. Ive never thought of 18 to be the end of a life.
